Self application of fake lashes! Get it right!

Fake lashes is one thing that transforms regular eye make up to ultra glamorous in one go. It takes great deal of perfection to get this thing right, specially if you are doing it on yourself. Am gonna give you tips here to make it simpler for you. First of all what you need is a great set of lashes made with natural hair. The good quality ones have a flexible baseline and take the shape of your eyes easily. The bad quality ones feel & look very plastic and don't curve easily along the lash line. Sooner or later these come off the corners. The other bigger problem is getting it in the perfect shape along the lash line
I personally find single lashes easier to use on self. They might seem really scanty but remember you can build on it gradually depending on how heavy a look you want. Also remember to apply the same amount on both eyes. You also need the perfect glue to get great precision while applying lashes. Duo is one of the most prefered lash glue across the world. You will also need a plucker to apply these individual lashes. All you require is a drop of lash glue on the back of your hand. Take every individual lashes, dip it in the glue, give it ten seconds to semi dry & then apply it right at your lash line.

Tip: Keep them dense towards the outer corner for a more enticing look. Draw the eyeliner once you are done with the lash application.
Applying half lashes is the other option. They are definitely heavier in appearance and give a fuller look. One movie star who wore half lashes all the time was the classic beauty Marilyn Monroe. Half lashes also give your eyes a longer almond kind look & feel. They too are best applied with a plucker. Apply minimum glue along the lash line, let it dry for 10 seconds and then put them on your outer/upper lash line and don't forget to press it  in place. I also like to place the half lashes slightly out of my eyes to give it a more dramatic length. This would help smaller eyes look big instantly. Lashes also help give a lift to droopy eyes. In that case I would apply the lashes a little above the lash line only at the outer corners.
Tip: Always apply mascara at the end, make sure you blend your lashes into the fake lashes to give it a more natural look.
