Hey you beautiful people! I am back with my inputs and I thought how about talking about the 'classic red lips'! No make up can do what just gorgeous red lips can. It can add instant glamour to a much mundane make up routine of ours. I still see a lot of people running away from this colour. They think its a bit too much and mostly what I get to hear is that it does not suit them & they don't know which red to buy.

If  you want to under play red lips, just go with very subtle eye make up. A shimmery  brown eye shadow all over your lids ( try Mulch from MAC) with atleast 2- 3 coats of mascara , a generous lining of kohl & you are done with your eyes ( do i need to mention your concealor & foundation regimen?)

To get those perfect red lips , dab a bit of shimmer on your cupid's bow! It makes your lips look irresistible, line your lips with a red lip liner gently (try BOURJOIS Red) , and fill up your complete lip with the same. Take your red lipstick and fill up your lips with a lip brush for precision (try CHANEL Rouge Allure Velvet, 38, La Fascinante) specifically for Asian skin or you can go for MAC Russian Red or Rubywoo in case you prefer bright red. I prefer the matt shades than glossy in red.

IF you think you got it in you to carry off the smokey eyes, don't think twice. Make them dark & black, all you need to make sure is that your make up is well blended & voila!!! you are ready to shine. Bronzer looks great with this look, make sure you dab some over your blush & face to look absolutely divine. A generous sweep of bronzer on your collar bones will make you look like a diva.

Though the most timeless look for red lips , is the winged eye liner & hair gelled back into a bun or pony tail . You can never go wrong with this look. You can view more images with red lips on my website www.chandnisingh.com.

Keep it red:):)

Hellllo everyone! Am back after a long break & I promise to be regular here on. The year has been eventful & have loved every bit of it so far. Coming back to my most favorite topic - hair & make up, I thought will speak of Bridal hair & make up as I have had the chance of having some wonderful clients, as usual. Am thoroughly pleased to see that girls today no longer wish to look like a Christmas tree. They want to look every bit of the beautiful bride without painting themselves under layers of white foundations and green/red /orange eye shadows. I however do not also believe that colored eye shadows are any bad....its all in the application & getting the shades and blending right.
